BAND FUND RAISER AND PROMOTION. May 30th saw the Band on Ashton Market and thanks to the generosity of the public raised £114.00 which will give their band funds a much need boost Out Tiny Tots played 5 tunes, their full repertoire, and got much applause from the delighted audience. A great deal of interest was shown in the work we do with the young members and several bookings were promised for the future. The Prep Band, fresh from their success in the Nationals, were on top form and guest player Miss Hannah Heaney. a student of mme Gina Branelli, wowed the public with some fine solo playing. SPECIAL FUND RAISER FOR THE INTERNATIONAL ACCORDION FESTIVAL2007... June 24th saw the Band with its supporters and ex members bag packing at Morrisons Supermarket with Parents busy running a tombola. Pictures of the day....
